Meet Fedora Zelkowicz
Fedora Zelkowicz
Hello! My name is Fedora Zelkowicz, and I’m thrilled to share my passion for teaching and languages with your child. Originally from South America, I’ve dedicated the past 19 years of my life to education, and it’s been an incredible journey!
In my home country, I taught literature—a subject close to my heart—before moving to the United States 10 years ago. Here, I had the privilege of working in a dual immersion program in public elementary schools for five years, where I helped young learners embrace bilingualism. For the past five years, I’ve been teaching Spanish as a special subject at a K-8 charter school, combining my love for language with creative approaches to learning.
Teaching is more than a career for me—it’s my passion. I believe that language is a bridge to understanding and creativity. In every class, I strive to make learning engaging, interactive, and meaningful. Outside the classroom, I find inspiration in art, which often weaves its way into my teaching.
I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to ALMA, where I can help your child embark on an exciting journey to discover the joy of Spanish!
